Ali Garbacz

As a Study Abroad Exploration Advisor, I’m here to help students begin the process of finding the ideal study abroad program that will satisfy their academic, professional, and personal goals. My job is to advise students and answer general questions about things such as program structures, life abroad, and resources for interested students. I graduated from UW-Madison with a double major in Linguistics and Asian Languages & Cultures, specializing in Korean language. I studied abroad in Seoul, South Korea during the summer of 2019 at Yonsei University and again during the 2021-2022 academic year at Korea University as part of UW-Madison’s previous Korean Flagship Overseas Program. When not working, I enjoy going for long walks, cooking, creative writing, and watching Korean variety shows.
