Kira studied abroad during the fall 2024 semester in the Netherlands. As a student studying food and bioprocess engineering, her classes abroad allowed her to visit farms and food processing plants, and learn about challenges and possible solutions that the food industry and food system players are currently facing. Her favorite memories include going on excursions with her classes, getting warm stroopwafel from the market, and cooking dinner with other international students.
