Emma Kempf

Emma spent one of the best years of her life in Seville, Spain, where she studied for the academic year through CIEE’s direct enrollment program at the University of Seville. During the year, Emma gained invaluable language skills, attending college fully in Spanish with local classmates. She also lived with a host family (who are now like a second family), made life-long friendships with classmates, and independently traveled through Spain and Western Europe. Although the language and cultural learning curve were steep (to say the least), Emma can proudly tell you (and will repeatedly) that it was a magical experience. Seville is a unique city in Spain, and she will treasure the time she spent there, anxiously anticipating the day she can return.
