As the Computer Systems Administrator, I provide oversight of International Academic Programs (IAP) database system. I support, maintain, and manage database system including design and implementation of solutions to support IAP’s educational mission. I work with students, staff, and faculty to solicit feedback on needs and translate those needs to various academic and service functions. I also participate in the development and implementation of strategic planning with respect to the database/online system. Part of my job includes managing the budget for the database and serve as a point of contact for vendors and other study abroad departments. I received my undergraduate degree in Physics at University of California San Diego and have experience in Climate Science research at Scripps Institute of Oceanography. Outside of work I enjoy hiking, biking, reading, board games, and tea. I am very happy that I can help manage the database and website for IAP and play a part in helping students achieve the wonderful experience of studying abroad.
