Study Abroad Engagement Intern
Interns work closely with the IAP professional staff team to support our front desk and promote studying abroad, including:- Greeting front desk visitors and answering student or parent questions by phone or email;
- Representing study abroad at events ranging from tabling at campus fairs to leading classroom or study abroad 101 presentations;
- Processing program application materials.
Semester interns will work between 8-15 hours/week. Summer interns may work up to 30 hours/week. Applicants must be a returned study abroad/away student.
- CALS Study Abroad Marketing Intern
Marketing Interns work closely with the CALS Study Abroad team to promote study abroad opportunities to CALS students by:- Giving classroom presentations and staffing promotional tables at campus events,
- Conducting outreach to on-campus student groups and organizations, and
- Enhancing online content and developing social media content.
Marketing Interns are regularly scheduled ~5 hours each week in Agricultural Hall. They also have an additional 4-5 hours of flexible work time weekly to engage with students outside of Agricultural Hall. Applicants must be CALS students who will have studied abroad by fall 2024.
