As a member of the Financial Team at International Academic Programs, I manage the financial pieces of a portfolio of study abroad programs, including accounts payable and receivable, budgeting, reporting, and advising. I am new to the financial side of higher education; I have previous work experience in student affairs and admissions in both international and domestic higher education.

I completed my Bachelor of Arts degree at Concordia University Wisconsin in K-12 Spanish Education, with the goal of becoming a Spanish teacher. I studied abroad for a fall semester in Granada, Spain, and completed 3 months of student teaching in Montevideo, Uruguay. After working as an undergrad for 4 years in my university’s International Office, I was fortunate to be hired as a full-time International Admissions & Recruitment Coordinator, where my work was focused on international student admissions and recruitment.

I am passionate about international education and advocate for every student to study abroad as I believe it fosters an open mind and understanding of diverse peoples, cultures, and places. Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my cats, knitting or crocheting, hiking, curling, and exploring new places.
