Mark Hagen joined the Wisconsin School of Business in 2022. He brings more than 17 years of experience in education abroad to his role as Global Programs Manager, overseeing faculty-led and graduate programs. Most recently, Mark worked at Appalachian State University in North Carolina as the assistant director of education abroad. Prior to entering the field of international education, Mark worked in banking, including six years in international banking at Wells Fargo.
Mark holds a BA in Spanish and economics from the University of Wisconsin–Milwaukee and a certificate in Latin American studies. Mark earned a master’s degree in international management from the Thunderbird School of Global Management (now a unit of Arizona State University) and an MA in Romance Languages–Spanish College Teaching at Appalachian State University.
