Lindsay Heiser Barger

Biography

As a Study Abroad Advisor, I manage a varied portfolio of programs.

At UW-Stevens Point, I studied English, French, and Natural Resources Management, including studying forestry, land use, and renewable energy in Germany and Poland. I completed an MA in English at UW-Eau Claire with a focus on science writing, taught college-level English in Wisconsin, then taught English as a foreign language in Japan.

Returning to the US to begin my career in study abroad, I worked at UNC-Chapel Hill before joining International Academic Programs in 2015.

I enjoy making stained glass art, trying to learn Spanish, and getting outdoors in all seasons with my family.
