Sidney Jensen-Schaffner

Biography

As a Study Abroad Exploration Advisor, I help students navigate the early stages of the study abroad process and begin to find programs that align with their goals. I am available to help students narrow down their program options and learn more about program structures, application timelines, and life abroad.

I graduated from the University of Wisconsin–Madison with a bachelor’s degree in History, Political Science, and Education Policy Studies. As a Badger, I studied abroad in Florence, Italy, where I fell in love with the city’s rich history and culture. I also studied and interned abroad in London, England. My internship was with Inspire EBP, an organization that develops programs to support personal and professional development amongst young people. My experiences studying abroad played a large role in shaping my passion for international education, and I am excited to help other students study abroad.

In my free time, I enjoy reading, traveling, watching sitcoms, and spending time with friends and family.
