Position title: Study Abroad Enrollment Manager

As a first-generation college student, who had never been outside of the U.S., attending college was just as foreign as the idea of studying abroad. After transferring colleges between my first and second semesters, I found that studying abroad was possible. At St. Norbert College I was able to graduate with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and Sociology as well as spend a semester abroad in London. I wasn’t sure what I wanted to do after graduation until I studied abroad, which gave me clarity in the form of a career path in international education. I would not be the person I am today had I not studied abroad. After working as an AmeriCorps member with College Possible in Milwaukee, I obtained my Master’s of Science in Education in Student Affairs Administration from UW La Crosse while completing a graduate assistantship in international education. As an Enrollment Specialist Advisor, I manage the admission process for a variety of study abroad opportunities within the College of Engineering and International Academic Programs. In my free time I enjoy reading a good book, drinking an even better cup of coffee, or golfing with family and friends.
