The Program Development Grant (PDG) provides funding to support faculty travel, or other activities related to developing a new study abroad program. Only one PDG application per new program idea will be considered. PDGs are not awarded retroactively (i.e. for travel that has already occurred at the time of the award), regardless of when the application was submitted. PDG grantees are required to submit a report describing the travel and/or activities funded by the grant.
Award Structure
One PDG is available for the development of a program. The PDG amount is based on the budget for expenses related to the development of the program up to a maximum of $5000 per individual included on the PDG.
