Scholarships

You are encouraged to apply for scholarships to increase your program budget. Most scholarships do not require you to be accepted or to even have applied to a program to be eligible to apply for the scholarship. Deadlines vary based on who is administering the award. Carefully read through the scholarship criteria as you prepare your application.

There are many different types of scholarships awarded from multiple organizations/offices. We encourage you to review the scholarship chart early so that you can go through the awards and determine your eligibility and apply.

Students should not rely on scholarships to fund their entire experience.

Study Abroad Office Funding

You will apply to the scholarships below through the Wisconsin Scholarship Hub (WISH) by the deadline for the appropriate term.

We aim to provide as many students with scholarships as possible. Students who have previously received scholarships, or participated on the Global Gateway programs, may apply for scholarships again; however, students who have not received scholarships may be given priority.
